The links have come alive with opportunities to play golf and help the Epilepsy Foundation raise funds for the more than twenty programs that benefit the 30,000 people in Southeast Wisconsin who suffer from epilepsy.
The first is the long-standing Robert M. Leonhardt II Memorial Invitational that will celebrate its seventh year of involvement with the Foundation in the summer of 2008. The event is held in memory of Robert Leonhardt II who died of epilepsy in 1999. The Leonhardt golf outing will be on August 1, 2009.
The second is the Greater McCuaig Open, humorously dubbed “The GMO.” The event celebrates the life of the late Ryan McCuaig who also died of a seizure in 2003. The "GMO" will be held September 19, 2009 .
The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Wisconsin is proud to be the recipient of funds raised through both these golf outings. Please call the Foundation office for dates in 2007 and how you can participate.
